Vacation Living at Our Lucaya
Our Lucaya Beach and Golf Resort located on Grand Bahama Island offers it?s guests not one
beautiful hotel, but three. Our Lucaya believes in giving visitors options that allow them
to have the most enjoyable and comfortable vacation as possible. Extending over seven and
a half acres, three magnificent hotels provide a breath taking view of Grand Bahamas
Island and the water that surrounds it. The 1,350 guestrooms and suites allow guests a
priceless view of the tropical gardens, yacht-filled Port Lucaya Marina and Bell Channel
waterway or the snow-white sandy beach.
The Manor House definitely stands out at Our Lucaya. Built in the colonial housing style,
it at first appears to have no Caribbean Flair. One step inside will change anyone?s mind.
Beautiful palm trees and other tropical plants adorn the inside of the lobby. Check-in at
Our Lucaya is a unique experience unto itself. No time is wasted. The friendly
staff rushes the vacationers? bags to their rooms through underground tunnels so not a
minute of sun time is lost. Once check-in is complete, guests will have made the
transition from ?real time? to ?island time?.
Lighthouse Pointe at Our Lucaya
With its 221 rooms and suites, Lighthouse Pointe is considered the creme de la creme of
Our Lucaya. The Luxury, Deluxe and Superior rooms all offer the same amenities: a
furnished balcony, armoire with mini-bar, storage drawers, and television, and double or
king-sized beds, among other luxuries. Each room varies in it?s view, but no matter where
you stay the feeling will be Caribbean. It?s the Suites that make Lighthouse Pointe stand
out. The Lanai Suites are a two-roomed living area with direct beach access. Full bay
windows allow guests a splendid view of the ocean. The Lucaya Suites also have direct
beach access, but it is a two floored suite with a wrap around veranda
style porch. This is a wonderful place to enjoy cocktails and watch the sun set over the
island.
Breaker?s Cay at Our Lucaya
In the center of Our Lucaya stands Breakers Cay. There are 579 rooms and Suites with 81
Exclusive Harbor Club rooms in this 10-story tower. Superior, Luxury, and Deluxe rooms all
offer the same amenities as those in Lighthouse Pointe. The only difference lies in the
view from the balcony whether it is of the pool, gardens, ocean or Grand Lawn. Two and
three room suites are also available. Harbor Club Rooms on the 9th and 10th floors are the
most exclusive Breakers Cay has to offer. The Club Lounge offers these vacationers
complimentary continental breakfast as well as cocktails and hor d?oeuvres each night. A
concierge is at guests? beck and call whether it be to confirm a flight or
book a snorkeling tour. The view from these rooms and suites is absolutely phenomenal.
Reef Village at Our Lucaya
Reef Village, with 550 rooms and suites, caters to family needs more than the other two
hotels. Although room and suite amenities are similar to those of Lighthouse Pointe and
Breakers Cay, it is at this hotel that Camp Lucaya is housed. This camp is a safe,
professionally supervised and educational place for kids to spend mornings, afternoons or
evenings while parents get some downtime. Sporting events and the Explorer?s Club will not
only entertain but also challenge vacationing children. The Sugar Mill Pool, with its mock
Bahamian ruins, also provides a waterslide for both adults and kids to enjoy. Reef Village
offers a memorable vacation that both parents and children will remember for years to
come.
